High Quality Digital Signage System

What is digital signage?

Digital Signs are used in wayfinding, placemaking, exhibitions, public installations, marketing and outdoor advertising.

Digital signs use technologies such as LCD, LED and Projection to display content such as digital images, video, streaming media, and information and can be found in public spaces, transportation systems, museums, stadiums, retail stores, hotels, restaurants, and corporate buildings etc.

Digital signage displays use content management systems and digital media distribution systems which can either be run from personal computers and servers or regional/national media hosting providers.

Our solution provides a high quality digital signage system! Digital signage is essentially any form of digital display, such as a TV, which is used for showing notices, public announcements, advertisements, etc.

• Centrally managed from a web interface
• Simple and easy to deploy
• Wide range of media support
• Does not require specialized hardware
• Runs on Windows, Linux and Android
• Support for RSS Feeds

How does it work?

It is a “client/server” application – which means it comes in two parts – Content Management System (CMS) and Display Client.
The “Content Management System (CMS)”

The CMS is a PHP/MySQL web application which can run on Windows/Mac or Linux. It is the central administration interface for the display network (if its a network of 1, or 1000).

The CMS is used to upload content, design layouts, schedule content to the display and various other administration tasks.

Technical requirements.

The CMS is a standard web application running on any web server capable of handling PHP and backed by MySQL database. You can run it on your own dedicated server or even on a shared hosting. Though we provide an optimized cloud appliance as a service capable of handling simultaneous management of thousands of multimedia screens.

The “Display Client”
A client is essentially a “display” (tv, projector, etc) which you will use to show content. Each client can have its own schedule of content and layout on screen. The client will run on a PC behind the screen, communicate with the server and display what its told. It will also report back exactly what has been displayed and for how long.

Technical requirements.

The display player is running fully functional on Windows and Linux, so any box that can handle network traffic and HD video playback would do the job. We have optimized and tested single board boxes with the size of a pack of cigarettes and provide them preinstalled and configured at an unbeatable price.
